Prime-Blend® Ultra is a unique light-cured, radiopaque, dentin adhering liner and base material containing calcium hydroxide and calcium hydroxyapatite in a urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA) base. It is a highly filled resin(for a liner) with minimal shrinkage and water absorption. Prime-Blend® Ultra has a higher viscosity then conventional liners, eliminating the need for a ball-type applicator. It’s superior strength and water insolubility (it won’t leach out) make Prime-Blend® Ultra the material of choice under composite, amalgams, and gold, etc. Prime-Blend Ultra® is easily contoured with high and low speed hand pieces.
